anyone who has voted for anything other than Hunky Dory is wrong and almost certainly some form of sexual deviant,

Not for the quality of the songwriting, of course, but for the memory of that golden summer to which it was the soundtrack :sigh:

to understand that they're wrong. And a sexual deviant.

Once you get beyond that early 90s indie kid stage you get his Berlin stuff much, much more.

In summary, keep it up, you'll get there.

Though Let's Dance sounded pretty **** from the tinny speakers in a knackered cortina crawling down Seven Sisters Road in the drizzle.

I suppose you'd have been 18, so very different for you. My summer of being 18 soundtrack would have been things like Ten, Nevermind, Screamadelica et al.

sophisticated than people who simply choose Hunky Dory, which is blatantly his best album.

It's a sure-fire way of spotting a try-hard pseud, j. ;-)

I literally can't imagine crying at the death of anyone I don't know. Even Geoffrey Boycott.

I think it is worth stating though, he's a bit like the stones in as much as whilst there's plenty of killer there's a veritable ocean of filler. 30 years of it in fact.

I dont like fords, it must be something about them being run by a decorated nazi, but even I have a bit of a soft spot for the capri.

Tell a lie, I think I cried when I found out Lennon died but that was about three years after the event and I was six.

modern electronics and traction control; a proper man's car, to be frank. To apply any pressure with your right foot in wet conditions, you had to be really committed.

Though I think it's because he fancied my mum, or was a ***** and fancied me, I never worked out what it was.

teachers were and to avoid them. The worst I ever had to endure was a slightly more than avuncular arm around my shoulders on a chair lift while skiing and an unwelcome neck massage while I was trying to do my quadratic equations.

You'd have had to be particularly clueless or careless to end up getting bummed by one of these chaps.
