but really I'm not that cool, plus I grew up in the 80s so it has to be Jareth for me.

The bloke might end up doing 5 nights at the O2. There's going to be demand in the market.

Blackstar seems to have gone done well.. I've not heard all of it but from what I have, it seems to be amongst his most inventive for a few years.. but then again, perhaps that's down to the morphine..

The chap deserved credit even if he'd only made one decent song thirty years ago. Being a rock legend isn't exactly a piece of piss now, is it.

Envy and jealousy and sour grapes is all most unbecoming :nono:

me some time ago. The fact that he has shuffled off this mortal coil is sad for him and his people, but doesn't really make any difference to me.

I get cross and sad when people whose work I love die because it means the tap that had been flowing has been turned off (Patrick O'Brian and George McDonald Fraser, for instance). In the case of Bowie, the tap turned off decades ago, so his physical death doesn't really affect me as his creative death occurred many years before.

That debacle was well and truly scrubbed from my memory banks up until recently when they showed the whole f**king video in a Family Guy episode. *******s :hehe:

cock's still sore from last night', causing her to guffaw.

So he deserves our admiration for being prepared to sling it up Tina Turner, anyway.

What I like about that is that it's not one titan of music but two debasing themselves.

extinguished at the time of writing Flashman and the Tiger ?

For my part, Bowie's passing isn't one of deep mourning, more a case of tipping a hat towards an icon. I suspect this may be the case with most.
