That's an awfully long time to sit wallowing in strangers' farts, without a drink of a fag.

I shall await the DVD.

Both i and my wife fell asleep at different points of the film, with no significant loss of comprehension,

He really does like getting his characters to say '*racist term removed*' a lot, doesn't he?

If I didn't know what a fine upstanding anti-racist he was, I'd suspect it was because he gets a vicarious thrill out of getting away with it.

It's a bit rich to steal something and then complain about the workmanship, to be honest. I mean, imagine some bloke driving your VW off your drive in the middle of the night and then phoning you up and saying, 'This car is a bit dull, it could do with some soul, you know what I mean? And it's only got half a tank of fuel in it.'

You'd think he was a right cheeky c**t, wouldn't you?

I thought the new year's Sherlock was a bit mince though.

think nothing of it.

And as I said, my role is to act as a canary in the mine of popular entertainment for you so that you don't waste money on tat. I'm performing a public service.

person's idea of what intelligent drama looks like.

Did you see War and Peace? Not bad. They got old Pierre Bezukhov about right. Andrei Bolkonsky's suitably miserable. Natasha Rostov's quite good, but a bit old at the moment.

Deutschland 83's worth watching as well.

goes to town with the N word there. Then again it would be tough making that film without it, not sure it needed saying 145 times though http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/xmashehe1.gif

Even so, pretty much every white member of the cast calls Samuel L Jackson a *racist term removed* at some point, I think.

It's got young Morse, young Strange and young Max!

There aren't going to be any more Lewis's, you know :-(

Cracking bear attack in it. Some good violence all round, in fact. Bit too much Leonardo Di Caprio, though.

day trip as well? Just to complete the set?

Ewww, I've just imagined Kevin Whateley's face on a child's body and it was a bit disturbing. :-(

Morse's boss, Chief Superintendent Strange:

Max the pathologist, from the early series, before it went commercial and everyone started liking it:

quite looking forward to The Revenant and was not disappointed. The bear scene is epic and the Arikara were very well portrayed from what I have read about them through the years.

I was a bit confused by the speed of Leonardo's recovery from his massive injuries, though. One minute he was at death's door, the next he was walking miles across inhospitable country.

In know they chip them and give them their shots, but is there much chance of getting a kitten, do you think? After all, I don't want to end up with some old psycho with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder like Buster (may the good Lord bless and rest his cantankerous feline soul).

Those millions of dollars probably help.

I made up that 145 as a ridicules amount but after Googling it looks around 115. He's a boy http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/xmashehe1.gif

than any number of bear-baiters. You'd do better to go for a local rescue centre like Foal Farm at Biggin. There must be one near you. Or there's always Battersea.

Also. 'equal rights for animals'? Equal to what? I'm confused.

Sir Charlie of Nicholas

They spunk money pursuing ridiculous prosecutions with zero chance of a conviction because they're stupid.

As you know, I believe that animals should be allowed the same freedoms and protections as human beings. Except when I am eating them. This may strike you as a somewhat paradoxical position; if so, I am sorry that you are not intelligent enough to follow my logic.

Now then, are you to have a kitten and make you glw sneeze?

Berni
01-04-2016, 03:21 PM
Never mind eating them, you keep your animals in a compound with unclimbable fences simply in order that you may derive pleasure from them. If they were human, you'd basically be Josef Fritzl or a Belgian.

And yes. She seems to have come around to the idea. She spent some time at Christmas with a cat and didn't suffer, so she thinks she may not be as allergic as she thought. So it's kitten ahoy imo.

No. We shall get a moggy. It will roam free in the country, slaughtering wildlife with gay abandon :cloud9:

Odd people have said it's a Scottish Wild Cat or Norwegian Forest Cat but he's a proper menace to local wildlife, brought in a bat last year.

Luckily we go away relatively scott free but my Mum's road was absolutely flooded out. Forunately it was inches from her house due to a previously almost unnoticeable hill.

This is my local cricket club.

As for the llamas, I know some people use them to guard sheep, but it's still odd to see them there.
