again, there never were that many top keepers available. The Mancs nipped in for van der Sar and Jens was still No1 back in 2005 anyway. Still, I''ve also live through George Wood back in the 80s,although that was,mercifully, not for six bloody seasons.

our lot put him through the indignity of shipping 5 in Munich, 4 at Southampton and 3 at Hillsborough. He's not used to that.
