One just below with people thinking we are going to win the league

The other people bitching and moaning about how **** we were on Saturday http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/xmashehe1.gif

Boruc was due to have an operation which has now been put on hold until the summer. They had to recall a kid that's on loan at Weymouth (doesn't even get into the Weymouth team) just in case Boruc wasn't fit :-(

The others look s**terer and Ramsey was f**king awful and made and scored a goal.

How can we not win it when things like that happen?

he'll find Anelka style form and win us the league after Christmas.

Seriously, I can't remember watching a player with better control of his body weight. His ability to stop and turn, or turn and stop, or just turn, all from the sprint, is spellbinding.

I came home and it kept doing it,

Then after about 30 mins I went back out to have a look and the squeak has gone?

Is it time to buy a new car? :-(

Get down into the footwell and try to remove the carpet and trim from around the pedal box; on a Fiat it may be visible anyway. Try a squirt of WD40 on the pedal hinge and any linkages you can see.

If the squeak is coming from the clutch itself rather than the pedal, you've probably got pressure plate issues and you're in for a bit of a bill. Places like Kwik-Fit do clutches pretty cheaply, I think.

It's far more likely just to be a dry pedal linkage though.

Oh bugger

Only saw the highlights but he seemed to be at the heart of everything we did going forward, involved in the first goal, set up the second, scored the third, plus got into a lot of other good positions. Finishing could have been better but If that is ****

they were even worse. Still, as the saying goes, play badly and win ya-de-ya.

On the Brightside we get to drool over Mesut

He was truly poor. Slowed the attack, lost possession and the less said about his finishing the better. He even tried to miss that last goal. Three yards out he hit it into the floor.
Still, he can only get better......

he misplaced just about every pass

Sir Charlie of Nicholas
12-07-2015, 09:51 AM
'Ramsey was highlighted for praise by Ian Wright on Match of the Day but, in truth, his display was mixed.

There was the lovely assist for the goal by Giroud at the right end, plus his own late finish, but there were a couple of misses and some heavy touches and loose passes. It was only Ramsey’s second start since a five week lay-off with hamstring trouble and fitness-wise he remains, in his own words, “a bit short”.'

Fair?

I agree it will not help, but since when have football fans ever thought that way? It does not help him that he is now in the middle at the same time that Coquelin is injured. Flamini does try but is not at the same level. It leaves too much space through the middle and Ramsey does not have the pace to cover gaps so ends up being bypassed a lot of the time.

Rakitic, whom I guess most people would agree had a pretty good year - and they compared very favourably. Not saying stats prove everything but some of the stick he gets just makes no sense to me

Many times when we had periods of possession the ball was laid forward to him and he then either took an eternity to control and move or played it back when nobody on him. Not dangerous, not impacting on possession but allowing Sunderland to regroup, which they did very well. 5 defenders with 4 in front needed quick movement. That is not his strength. Running through onto passes by Urzil or Santi is his strength. Yes he made the goal but a lot of his approach play was cumbersome.

Look, I would love to see him play well, we desperately need him now as we have months without the first choice pair but remember there is a reason Wenger played him wide and not in the middle. Cazorla and Coquelin are far better than him

As I was saying to LA, a lot of the time the ball came to him he took 2 or 3 touches then laid it back or wide.

I really hope he makes it but I have seen nothing to make me think he will be a top class player, but I hope I am wrong. I would like to see what it feels like :-)
