within striking distance of the Ring of Kerry.

This place in Kenmare looks an absolute bargain at 272 pounds a night. Is the area squalid?

less barbarous Welsh and there are even quite a few decent restaurants in places like Abergavenny and Ludlow.

Everyone knew who it was, but no-one did anything about it because he was the son of a well-respected local and they didn't want to embarrass him.

Dutch boy heralds from that neck of the woods despite his flights of fancy.

You and I naturally are more urbane in this respect.

Mind you, mine were Norman and had a castle until Cromwell came along. I can't speak for what his got up to.

what a hotel room costs, and that's just one room. We're getting a whole bloody house here. Amazing.

I expect Guinness is about 12 euros a pint now? And deep bloody frozen.

A fine establishment where a warm welcome is always guaranteed.

The range of food equates to a toasted sandwich, sometimes.
