But wouldn't it be nice if we could have a few minutes of daylight/sunshine a day.

This is the ****test weather ever.

I can just imagine you gazing out at the bleak, dank, post-Christmas world going increasingly Shining-esque come December29-ish. You've probably lost your resistance after all these years of sunshine.

was a bit worried about strikes couple of weeks back but they seem sorted now ...the internal flights im slightly jittery about as haven't booked yet and its all cheap Malaysian air...might get the train :-)

dark and ****e during the day anyway so does not matter if you miss the day in recovery..far bettertime of year for it than summer imo

When I was in Norway the other week, they said they actually looked forward to it snowing because at least then there was some reflected moonlight on the snow.

I'm not sure it wasn't the saddest thing I've ever heard.

without taking your life in your hands. It's very hard to force yourself to go for a run in the pitch dark with a howling gale threatening to drop a tree branch on you.

It's gritting my **** and no error.

changing lane with gay abandon as they're the only ones with any visibility whatsoever due to how high up they are. When your only option is to get uo to speed in the outside lane to avoid them and all you can see is a mess of lights and water. That isn't so much fun.

You're simply a man covered in sweat, whereas when I return from a run, I am covered in all of nature's bodily fluids and have the joy of washing them off and feeling renewed.

Hmm, fishmonger today; I could murder a sole.

Something white and meaty with a bisque, anyway.

This is now my signature fishy dish and I love it very much.

He has recently had some ginormous prawns, the size of little lobsters, they are. I doubt whether they come from Hull, but I'm afraid I like them too much to get confirmation that they're farmed and frozen :-(
