Botanist, physician, and collector of artefacts that became the basis of the British Museum. And Natural History Museum. Made a recipe for milk chocolate that was later used by Cadburys. Founding governer of the Foundling Hospital. Donation of grounds for the Chelsea Physic (healing) Garden. Has a plant genus named after him by Carl Linnaeus himself. Sloane Square named after him.
