Actually, that was something that came out of last week for me: who knew that many French people were into death metal?

I don't think they are actually death metal.

Josh Homme I believe is one of them, from QOST. Not sure he would be the type for the aforementioned racket.

The offerings on this island are strictly limited to the obvious 3 plus Prawn Cocktail (the chosen crisp of the registered sexual predator).

Music, football, booze. That’s me in a nutshell.

You will have your things which I won’t get, politics being one. Gay **** basically but who am I to judge.

We’re all very different which is what makes life so interesting and indeed it is this which makes this forum such a hotpot of debate and cultural exchange.

What Eddie Jones has to say ...

On Stuart Lancaster’s decision to drop George Ford during the World Cup

They were trying to play a ball-in-hand game, working out the
opposition and running different shapes, but the ball-playing
qualities of George Ford in the No 10 jersey were key. When they get
to the most important game of the World Cup, against Wales, it all
went out of the window. They brought in Owen Farrell and changed to a
more direct game. They went away from what they had practised for most
of the year and that breeds confusion amongst the players.

On England before their World Cup game against Wales

England have gone from a team who can play a number of ways to only one way.

On Lancaster before England’s defeat against Australia

What is England’s identity? Every England team who have been
successful have had that aggressive bulldog defence focus and very
strong set-piece. That comes first, then you can start moving the ball
and add in some X-factor behind.

On the appointment of Lancaster

Every union that’s successful, every national team that’s successful,
has a guy that’s experienced, has a guy that understands rugby.
England pick a rookie coach to coach a home team at a World Cup. You
need a guy that’s got experience.

On Chris Robshaw, the England captain

Chris Robshaw wears No 7, but he is a six-and-a-half at best. He’s not
hard over the ball and he’s not quick. He’s a useful player but he’s
definitely not an out-and-out open-side flanker. Robshaw is an
outstanding club player but at international level he just doesn’t
have that point of difference. He carries OK, he tackles OK, but he’s
not outstandingly good in any area.

On Steffon Armitage, the open-side flanker playing in France

Steffon Armitage is pretty hard and handy over the ball and would
definitely bring that quality to the England side.

On the RFU’s ban on overseas players

They needed a proper open-side flanker. Whether they should or
shouldn’t select overseas players is a big call for the RFU.

On the first-choice England back-row

Ben Morgan and Tom Wood don’t play over the ball, and Robshaw only half does it.

On Mike Bown, Anthony Watson and Jonny May

England’s back three gives them something different: they’ve got pace
and size, and the ability to find the tryline

On who might have been the star of the World Cup

Jonny May, the England winger. He is a big, fast guy and he can beat
people one-on-one. He’s improved his game by running different lines.

On England’s struggling forward unit

England have lost a lot with Dylan Hartley out. He has been a massive
loss. Tom Youngs doesn’t seem to have that scrummaging ability.

On the fly half dilemma before the World Cup

England can reach the final but they look a bit mixed-up. They’ve gone
for George Ford over Owen Farrell: Ford is good but does he suit the
way England want to play?

On central contracts for England players

How can you manage your players when they are controlled by other
organisations? In my opinion, that’s the single greatest task ahead of
whoever is going to be appointed as the next England coach.

Quite how he'd feel about their common humanity as they pushed him off a tall building he didn't make clear.

as the two no 8 options - just need better flankers either side of them.

Tom Croft is fit at the moment....

are very good in the lineout. Croft to start with Itoje on the bench. He'll probably try his best to get Armitage in the squad. Should be interesting to see how that goes :hehe:
