I would draw your attention to the sixth signatory on the list and to the list of demands - particularly numbers 10 and 12 :hehe:

Yes No. 12 is rather barmy.

Gift for the Tories and possibly helpful for resurgence of the Libdems.

completely out of date.

7 months ago, a man who is now Shadow Chancellor (that - were Labour to be elected - would make him the second most powerful man in the country) put his name to a document calling for the abolition of our domestic security service, disarming the police, slashing the armed forces and getting rid of police squads such as those dedicated to anti-terrorism.

And you think that is no big deal?

He seemed quite happy about it at the time…

increasing gusto). Reading the Guardian nowadays properly f**ks with your head. I think Own Jones is literally their only regular contributor who is categorically pro-Corbyn, and even he seems to acknowledge he is currently unelectable.

Another 18 months and they could have destroyed Labour forever.

And lots of what he says appears to be the ramblings of a particularly foolish fifth form 'rebel', rather than an adult politician, so it's little wonder the world and his dog are interested. It's like watching a car crash.

And Owen Jones is a certifiable maniac.

There's no obvious candidate for the saner members of the party to rally round, that may be our only hope.

And the degree to which they get picked on is in direct proportion to both their seniority and their credibility.

Hence why he is being picked on an awful.

and these things are being reported.

Do you think the press should censor themselves so as only to report things he says which don't shoot himself in the f**king head?

terrorism and the second most senior member of the Shadow Cabinet is a man who seven months ago wanted to disarm the police and disband MI5. I really can't elaborate further than that because, if you can't see the issue with that, you are just certifiably thick.

If you think the reporting isn’t slanted in a negative way towards him, then you’ve literally like an African defender, Jeff.

If you think the COMMENT isn’t picking on him, then you’re a f**king idiot.

here...

it is amazing that with someone so unelecatable as JC that the opinion polls have the tory party with the same lead as in May.... and closer than they were before he became leader.

party.

If anything, the Guardian coverage of him tried to be positive straight after he was elected and even now it's less critical than it was before his election. Polly Toynbee has stopped laying into him, as have Jonathan Friedland and Martin Kettle - all of whom were extremely critical beforehand. The people who have remained critical are people like Rafael Behr and Nick Cohen, who simply hate everything he stands for.
