Based on my flights there this year, these Norwegian pilots earn their money.

Fog, high winds, ice - all that sort of thing.

The flight back last night took off in fog and was buffeted all the way by a very strong headwind. Seatbelt signs on most of the way and some rather unpleasant whimpering and vomiting by my fellow passengers, I'm sorry to say. :-(

Then it came into land f**king sideways, which was distinctly unamusing.

However, the Norwegian attitude to them seems pretty robust.
