I get on at Cannon street for one stop then head down the stairs /escalator at Monument which takes you straight to the Northern Line platforms.

This works flawlessly.
Except the odd occasion when they have closed this door. meaning you need to then leave the station and walk back to bank :furious:

what feels like several miles away from your destination. It also annoys me that the Waterloo & City Line goes there rather than somewhere useful like Liverpool St.
