moral to blackmail the person in the video than to sell it to a newspaper, because the latter would ruin the player’s career whereas the former would simply cost them money.

And in simple market forces terms, he would simply be paying the market price for a product to avoid it ending up in the hands of someone else.

Of any kind is the one I respect , any and all press , players who use it to blackmail or make money I despise with all my heart , would happily slit there throats n feel nothing , to me they are below human..i would kill them like Isis.. I hope blackmailed chap hunts them down over 30 yrs.. Torturing there souls n families..snakes..sub human scum

I knew he had previously used unlicensed images and so, at the end of my tether, I threatened to dob him in to the owners of the images if he didn't pay up.

This was a form of blackmail. Do you consider it immoral?

verbs. I take it you don't object to usages such as 'to battle', 'to torture' or 'to savage', so why draw the line at 'to leverage'?
