View Full Version : So, these 'protesters' last night. As I understand it, one of their many complaints was about cuts

to public spending

They protested against this by making necessary huge levels of publicly-funded policing, causing injuries that will burden the NHS and be compensated from public funds and by destroying publicly-funded property that will need to be replaced and repaired by - you guessed it - public money.

To call them cretinous dickheads would be to praise them with faint damnation, really.

A relic from a **** film that puts money in the pocket of a vast corporation and which commemorates a religious zealot who tried to commit an act of mass murder.

Well done, everyone. You're f**kwits.

Not that I agree with these very broad movement based protests like Occupy myself, I'm just interested to know what you think an acceptable way of protesting would be.

Alan Moore writes some pretty amazing stuff, in fairness. Honestly, you should at least attempt to read some of his stuff before making a judgement.

From Hell is particularly brilliant, it's easily the best and most vivid telling of the whole Jack the Ripper/Walter Sickert tale there is. Watchmen is also bloody fantastic, so good it spawed a whole genre of realer super hero movies.

Honestly, b. The man is a bonafide genius

in the political process, surely?

Setting a car on fire isn't really addressing an issue. It's simply vanadlaism.

setting fire to cars does not always have to be bad

No, the protest movement isnt about comics, the mask is simply a visual trope based on a sketch of guido fawkes.

I shouldnt have to explain this **** really, should I?

Also, I believe the man is from the West Midlands. No genius comes from the West Midlands.

He's from Northhampton.

There arent any pows, the man is a bonafide genius - not to mention a british eccentric of some note. He's basically on the Stanshall spectrum.

inclusivity and persuasion…that sort of thing.

Wearing a f**king mask, shouting 'Tory scum' and setting fire to cars solely tells people you're clueless c**ts who are in it for ****s and giggles.

In other words, whether you like it or not, Tories are normal people.

People in masks who set fire to cars, on the other hand, aren't.
