Surely you wouldnt want to patronise a regime like that. Military Junta in power, restricted press freedoms, 80,000 political prisoners, thousands of civilians killed by the army. You'd have to be incredibly heartless to want to engage with that sort of regime.

I always thought that a mistake we all make when we check out of a hotel is to leave our luggage in a locked room, go and do something else and then return hours later for our luggage which we take on the plane. Anyone could tamper with it and put something inside. Seems like that is even worse in Egypt, where guests leave them outside their rooms for a porter to collect
