than leaving the house for a couple of hours while he's asleep (as I would like to do on Wednesday to watch the game), yet I simply wouldn’t be able to do the latter.
Why do we so often allow our actions to be governed by irrationality?

It's 18 months old. Too old to just die for no reason, but not old enough to be able to climb out of its own cot. Basically it would be totally fine. I just don’t have the balls to do it.
