View Full Version : The excesses of the Left are dragging us further and further into the gutter, as expected;

translunacy is just an obvious and current example. Yet, almost under the radar has crept the most evil, sick and filthy abomination, undermining the very essence of all that is good and decent in our society.

Yes, I refer to the inevitable consequence of the sacred multicultural experiment: the invasion of 'Halloween' as a thing in this country.

Kindly take your Halloween and f**k off back to Yanquiland with it, together with your **** sports and your sweetened bacon.

However, one is subjected to mention of this ridiculous event in the media.

I just want to live in England. Why is my England being destroyed?

This is what happens when the organised working class are destroyed. Instead of the historic and healthy dialectical struggle between labour and capital over the length of a tea break and the number of biscuits provided, we end up with this.

I blame Thatcher, naturally.

In fact come to think of it, she was a bit ... y'know ... gender fluid.

One may find chaps in flat caps with dubious personal hygiene offensive and stupid, but at least they aren't (generally) clinically insance.

However, as so often, your tenuous grasp of the basics of English grammar and syntax leave the reader grasping for meaning.

I shall put this more simply. What the f**k are you on about?

Then there would be fights.

In my corner of Lisburn anyway.

Surely the bonfires were the following week when we all remembered the devlish papists who tried to blow up the Mother of Parliaments?

Guy Fawkes as such is pretty much ignored in the North which itself is odd given that the IRA must have felt a common goal existed between them and the aforementioned Spanish miscreant.

At Halloween we – youths - would have built massive bonfires constructed from wood and general bric-a-brac, the main prize however being tyres which would be accumulated from various means including stealing and stealing.

There would also have been scenes of general violence towards fellow man where random people would be attacked with eggs and such like, also the RUC would be engaged with and various items thrown at them – bottles, masonry, flares, bangers etc.

Quite un-American really.

that they are often not that good. There's a reason why it can take weeks of dicking around in a studio, recording one instrument at a time, and agonising about mix levels and EQs to get it to sound good.

At least three-pieces are generally tighter than larger bands, and are easier to engineer to get a decent live sound.

But I will respectfully remind you that this live album is The Jam.

I suspect he did not have a fry-up so far today.

Ashberto

I was going to state the bleeding obvious and say that The Jam always played well live but that went without saying. So I hinted at the inherent advantages of tight three-pieces.

My comments implying that live albums can fall short of their studio counterparts were of a general nature and not specific to this particular beat combo.
