As much as we all don’t care about the competition, Wenger had at least some duty to try to win the game. The only possibility of doing so was to pick a handful of first teamers. With our big hitters all needing a rest, Ox was the obvious candidate to be our attacking pivot through the middle.

Should Wenger have risked Theo after Ox’s injury? Again, he had a duty to win the game and as far-from-ideal as the situation was, I don’t think he had any choice.

I don’t think there’s many more exciting sights in English football the Ox in full flow. The combination of pace and power is almost Ronaldo-esque. He just needs to stop being bantered off by knackhousery.

but our defence decided the occasion was beneath them(fair enough, of course), and the game slipped away in the first half.

It really does look as though Ox's head is leetle beet gone though.

Strangely, very similar place to Ramsey's nadir, I just hope he can bounce back like the welsh lad did.
