I heard a huge number of people around me remark that Giroud would have buried that chance (or at least they did when the replay system started working).
Well if I'm not mistaken, the same smartly-coiffured french striker softly headed a free header straight at the quite good teutonic keeper late on, but this was lost amongst the excitement.
