I doubt they will fail to score against us again. Though we did defend very very well last night.

I assume that we'll draw in Munich, hammer Zurich at home and then lose 2-1 in Greece.

Purile, I know.

I can't help feeling that last night was our annual heroic failure in this tournament.

we are afeared of facing two old crocks? Give me Ribery starting over Costa any day of the week - not played in ages and not great the last few times he did. Robin would be more of a worry - as much because it would probably mean Mueller moving into the centre behind Lewandowski

and whether Bundesliga teams can adopt Arsenal's approach. And also how the Kaiser has to deal with more "irritation" over Fifa

apart from moving enough for Owen Hargreaves to decree that Muller has the best movement in World football

Another 2 games in the New Year is what I want for Xmas.

whether it was to increase the suffering of any Bayern fans present or not I am unaware

But I was praying to God that good things happen, that's how we roll.

as in - what's the point of us being in a tournament we can never win?

If so my answer would be to point to all the 88 teams that can never win the league. the ones that make up the numbers. Why do they bother existing?

Actually I am supposed to be playing tomorrow if my paperwork ever arrives :banghead:

The financial return from qualification and the ability to attract players based on qualification, both of which we have achieved again this year.

I'm not hugely hung up on involvement post Xmas. If we make it then jolly good but I do not obsess about it, I will not in the smallest way possible be disappointed at our exit.

I don't see us as realistic potential winners of it so I don't get overly hung up on it.

We might win it one day of course. Hull nearly won an FA Cup a few years back of course, as did Millwall.

In general, as has been stated many times before now, I am not a huge fan of the massively hyped and hugely diluted so called "champions" league, especially the group stages.

Much prefer the Premier League.
