But at least now I know the date. I will slip a few days in Iceland before and a few days in Toronto on the way back. Not bad though it will be a 3 week break.

Apart from that going to Italy again next week, though not really a holiday any more.

I thought I'd quite enjoy being the ******* with the kid on the plane but my one was pretty OK, though the bottle we packed did squirt over our seat into the face of the person behind for a full ten seconds due to pressurisation.

Pros: Obvious, loads of doting relatives there to give you and Mrs BGM a break.

Cons: It is not really a holiday as you are just lifting your normal life and plonking it down somewhere perhaps warmer and nicer. Whatever routine you have with the baby is still going to be exactly the same - eating, sleeping, ****ting etc.

Still, never ever turn down a free holiday.
