Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez suffered a groin injury during the Gunners' clash with Manchester United on Sunday and is doubtful for Chile's upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed Sanchez "has a little groin problem," per Chisanga Malata of the Daily Star. He now hopes the forward won't aggravate the injury on international duty:
Unfortunately he goes to Chile.
You cannot stop him from going to Chile and he loves so much to play for his country and he will play against Brazil [on Friday] and Peru [next] Tuesday so the game at home against Brazil he will not want to miss.
Hopefully he will come back in good shape.
