I can understand the logic of the loan given his return from injuries. Unless Pulis is being a complete c**t, which despite him appearing to be a complete c**t I have to think unlikely, then one has to wonder why he is not playing more*.

Player goes on loan, sanctioned by the club so they won’t just send him off to ******** United FC. From there on selection is down to the player warranting same and the manager of the new club agreeing.

We can’t really enforce selection of a player in any game, PL or otherwise. Nor should we be able to. That is what our reserves (or whatever they exist as now) are for.

Mo’s suggestion of 15/20 games could in some circumstances be not far off 50% of all games in a season.
