View Full Version : AWIMB Gob****es need not read - I am hosting a cheese and wine night tomorrow evening and am trying
to select the best cheeses for the evening. This sounds easy enough but is proving a bit of a minefield.
What are AWIMBs favourite cheese and wine pairings? So far I have some smoked gouda which I think will pair well with some Marlborough Sauvignon that I have. I also have an Emmentaler for my Beaujolais and a couple of others. My mates will each bring a bottle of their favourite wine and a suitable cheese to accompany it but I don't want to be swamped with Stiltons, Cheddars and Cab Savs.

I was all geared up to like him and everything and then he spoils it by mistaking me for an antipodean.
I'm no snob, as you well know, but I like to think I'm above your average wolf creek type.
