I came across this last night while reading discussions about brutalist architecture, as you do. It the word for how the country should come to terms with its dark past, and the context was this Nazi vacation wonderland, which was never finished for purpose at the time, but could yet be turned into a giant hotel.

It goes on for four and a half kilometres.

I had to stay in this one when I went on a conference there a couple of years ago. The best thing I can say is that staying in it had the singular advantage of meaning I didn't have to look at it most of the time.

That place looks as if it involves something like compulsory fun. Like 'Strength Through Joy'... oh.
