likely to get an extra game which will be more than Costa will get in any scenario. What's more Dean's admission (what else could he say?) that he didn't see the attack on Kos confirms that Costa should not have been on the pitch when Gabriel flicked his boot at him.

And that would have meant three points for the Arsenal. Whatever happens we lost three points and six points vis a vis Chelsea.

Much like people who say "Re:" and "certain people"

The universe doesn't work like that. As it was we might have had a draw had Alexis not spazzed his chance.

Victory and/or defeat is rarely ever guaranteed.

10 men can often become galvanised and get a result in apparent extreme circumstances.

Our plight was made much more difficult by the silly concession of a very easy goal which gave them the lead, which incidentally they did not really look like doing so before this point – or indeed adding to until very late in the game.

I.e. If the ref had seen Costa violently assaulting Kos then Gabriel would've never been sent off because Costa won't have been on the pitch to to wind up Gabriel.

Actually this is more like Looper.

:o

Fwiw suspect they'll make an example out of Costa....been waiting for a big name to f**k up so they could make a statement and they won't get a better chance than that clown.

tried to Coqblock booked, assaulted Kos 3 times and then did a Diego Simeone on Gabriel.

Reckon 5 or 6 game ban.

It was Riley’s incompetence, along with his officials, that stopped Costa being sent-off.
