As brilliant as the old Wenger v Ferguson rivalry was the equivalent with Mourinho is simply tedious and increasingly snide.

You cant help but think that the press dont give him enough respect for that sort of thing and are generally more angry that he's taken the opportunity for them to fill there pages with 'Arsene v Jose WAR!'headlines.

The real talking takes place on the pitch, or perhaps by the side of it.

This was certainly the case with old red nose during AW's purple patch. No coincidence this petered out, drifting towards fairly tame mutual respect, once Ferguson had the regular beating of us :-(
