Suspect we're in a bit of a mess with the CL....need to beat Olympiakos home and away, beat Zagreb cosily at the Emirates and look to take points vs Bayern who lets face it have continually put us in our place when it mattered most.

people will say....but we beat them 2nil....yeah but we lost the first leg 3nil and they wanted to cruise the 2nd leg so it does not matter.

Getting out of this group will not be easy...might have to settle for the Europa league and A load of ITV4 jokes.

defeat to Chelsea on Saturday looks inevitable...Wenger has never master Mourinho in any meaningful game somi doubt it's suddenly going to happen on Saturday,...

Looks like it's back scrapping it out for 4th place and the FA cup again....maybe this time we'll end up Liverpool, United, Chelsea and Man City along the way.....

Our season is largely based around domestic ‘success’, I would respectfully suggest that any person who really thinks we may or could win the CL is f**king deluded. Our CL involvement is a nice money making balance sheet enhancing exercise in making up the numbers for the tournament to function in a viable way.

Domestically even losing to Chelsea on Saturday, were that to happen, means very little in the bigger picture as we would still only be 8 points maximum from the leaders.

In summary, we might win a cup.

It was touted as being about challenging for them but that was always going to be a stretch.

Argusbly going out of the league cup would be a bigger blow as it is one of the two things we could actually win. Going into the europa league would actually increase pur chances of traditional 'success'

In short, we are **** and we already knew we were :-)
