No doubt make the last 16 as per usual.

Bit pointless imo...

we'll still qualify.

Giroud and Arteta were f**king gash.

Those six probably start on Saturday morning. Wouldn't you agree that the team named was more than capable of winning the game?

rotation/resting. Would've made more sense in a home game or against Stoke, not in an away champions league game.

Three of those players didn't even play during the international break, and a goalie doesn't need resting.

Inevitable that he'll put away a match winning brace in the next few games..

We will still go through all the same.

No panic.

we were utter comedy though

every game than any of them desperately needs a rest.
He hasn't really had one since the start of last season.

load of *******s? Thought he had a bit of a shocker. Caught out numerous times and looked as though he was jogging back even though he was at full speed. Fair to say the legs have most certainly gone.

and yet we're expecting miracles from him.

Both defenders, your keeper and the midfield player largely charged with protection of same.

playing a midfield pairing of two slow, ball playing Spanish midgets, both over 30 is bordering on mental.

but yes he is probably past it even when 100% fit

But yes, him playing as the last man at the back of midfield is perhaps where we'll get stuffed this season.

To allow onself to indulge in cliches use the younger French to do his running for him while utilising Arteta’s undoubted short/medium range passing ability for transition from defence and general ball retention.

Not sure if he was exposed last evening or lacking in match fitness but he was f**king useless, as was Santi.

And it backfired.

If we now go and lose at chelsea he just looks a bit of a chump.

Doesnt really matter in the great scheme of things. We are not going to win either of the big prizes this season and are very unlikely to even challenge for them. We will still finish third or fourth with a degree of comfort. Then he needs to get it right next summer or it is likely to be his last. May well be anyway

players playing in a team that virtually never lost the ball they had Busquets behind them, neither of them were ever played as the ball winner in midfield.

Arose three or four times before that.vfprtunately on each occasion they shot wildly high and wide because they are ****.

There was constantly a gap at the back pf our midfield which will be there whenever cowuelin doesnt play. Arteta will get the blame but it isnt really his fault on his own.

Bergkamp's Brain

Iniesta is not slow, or perhaps more accurately and with due respect to father time, he was not slow when in his prime.

He always had that little burst which allowed him to escape defenders, a trait some associate with our very own Jack Wilshere.

RIP.

the notion that we were going to go to a tricky, hostile environment and dominate to the point that the midfield three wouldn't be made to work was always going to be hugely optimistic.

my point being we need to sell Ozil and sign some lanky, absolute c*nt to finish off our Barcelona tribute act.
Midfield tribute act anyway, our front three tribute act still needs plenty of work doing.
Sorry about that btw, still early :-)
