the squad is too shallow and his complete inability to master the transfer market will undermine this club. It might make Kroenke happy but it just leaves us too weak to be competitive at the top level. The guy sadly is a dinosaur trying to compete in the modern age. The days of club loyalty has long gone so his vision of developing players that take arsenal to the next level is just not reality. The players will all decamp to bigger clubs. Will Sanchez or Ozil likely be here in 5 years time if all we can offer is the occasional FA cup success ? No way. So we will get back on the cycle of good players going elsewhere to become successful players. What wenger seems not to grasp is that even bringing players the same quality as your first teamers raises the standard by raising the quality of the squad and raising the competition.
