He could go the next ten games unbeaten but if we're out of all competitions by the beginning of March, he'll face the usual barrage of abuse.
He's at the point in his career where in order to keep himself in the job, he needs to win trophies, or come extremely close, such are the conditions imposed by the fans when you're that long in the role at a big club.

He's been with us nearly two decades, almost all other managers feel fortunate to survive two transfer windows nowadays :shrug:
