But because he played it safe, it doesn't look as good.
He doesn't need to leather it, cos the keeper will have no chance if he places it well.
It doesn't need to be high - much more intelligent to get the ball to hit the turf just before it gets to the line.
It doesn't need to be in the exact corner. Better to leave him a foot or two from the cornet in case he doesn't get the perfect connection. The Keeper won't get there.
So it was a better goal as it was but didn't look as 'good' so won't win.
Likewise Coq won't even be mentioned next month.
But great DM tackle to win the ball, break up their attack and get the ball straight to a team-mate's feet. Amazingly hit 50 yard pass, where he has about half a degree either way to make sure neither keeper or defender can get it. Great first touch to bring said 50-yard pass under control. Decent finish with keeper and defender almost on you.
But just looks like an up-and-under.
