Computer/Phone wimb and Twitter

Any of you wizkids out there know how to stop spam on Twitter?

So weird as I only seem to get it when using my phone and not on my PC.

I read that it can be bots that latch onto you as bogus followers so I've gone and blocked any dodgy looking followers to see if that helps as it is such a pain in the arse to keep reporting spam :banghead:

Anything else that can stop it?

I generally tend to block and report anybody like that, bit I've not been troubled by that sort of thing for years.
