I bought a packet of Golden Wonder crisps today in my sandwich shop and was heartened to see that

they have stuck to their guns and retained the old, pre-Walkers crisp packet/flavour scheme of Dark blue = Ready Salted; Green = Cheese and Onion and Light Blue = Salt aand Vinegar.

I'd almost forgotten that that was how things always were when I was a youth. I remember how distressing I found it when Walkers came along and changed everything. :old:

It's only Walkers that changed everything. Mind you, Walkers did also hit on the cunning and sneaky marketing ploy of making much nicer crisps than anyone else who was around at the time. And not putting those weird green ones in the packets.
