Gaitlin looks the overwhelming favorite after the semi-final heats, but…
Gaitlin had a generous tailwind, while Bolt had a strongish headwind AND still won despite stumbling early on.
If Bolt ignores the pure times and considers those factors, then he should be encouraged.
Bolt also knows that no one has ever run faster than him. Gaitlin will be conscious of that.
My money's on Bolt to shock everyone (and possibly even himself) and win in 9.70.
