who introduced himself to the participants as "Shavier" and they kept saying, OK we're just waiting for Ex-ayvia to join the meeting. My Spanish colleague didn't twig that they were talking about him and nobody understood what i was trying to explain

Can I make a terrible admission? I had a phone meeting with a prospective client today, a very big won, who happens to be an American.

I unfortunately ended the call with "Have a nice day".
