Norwood cemetary well worth a visit on the way. They say that during a flood the river Effra carried a coffin as far as the Thames.

But no, sorry. The only out-of-town walks I do are on The Fells.

That's just the horizontal distance. Most of it is up f**k off girt mountains.

I'd have found it hard not too imo.. I used to enjoy walk from Queenstown road to Tottenham court road on occasion and the stroll from Oval was even easier when I moved, Balhama was a long old walk in though

I kicked him down the stairs once into the front door after he was complaining about the noise whilst wearing stained white pants the filthy old nonce..he used to get gay porn DVDs posted to him..not even well wrapped..I then bought in oval as decided renting was not for me and it was too much of a shock move from Battersea to Balham imo..scum

Running distance is bad for you imo. It smashes up your knees and feet. It hurts the lungs. I don't believe we evolved to be distance runners. Walking distances though is entirely natural, as exercise goes.

I tried it a few weeks ago, not really sure why.

3.5km including hills, local park. Felt okay, bit sore next day, day 2 then i was limping a little when I stood up and this lasted for about a week to 10 days.

Like Mr Burns it's everything all at once which is keeping him alive, the slightest upset in the equilibrium could be fatal.
