This is a glimpse of what it could look like

And we all want our clubs to have as much money as possible to spend on players. Nowadays though, there's simply far too many people who don't actually play football making money out of football http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif

So far Chelsea have lost to us in admittedly a meaningless game but one which gained a degree of credibility based on the managers dislike of each other and history, then made a *******s out of a home game and all the brouhaha which went with that match and then finally had their arses handed to them by their closest rivals.

I think they also managed to go through the entire pre-season without winning a game.

Nobody in the media is pressing panic buttons yet as it is but August but they have not started at all well.

You would expect their own media to try and spin a more positive tune for the global audience that will read their website.

they've happened. The reaction by Mourinho to the doctor affair, the substitution of Terry and subsequent collapse and the ridiculous handshake that never was affair, all point to a guy who is so up his own arse that he is failing to concentrate on what happens on the pitch. When that guy is the manager, you've got a problem. I sense the beginning of another Roman spat and sacking.

Munich next, I suppose.

Was the non-handshake thing not more a Wenger action than his? Again I did not watch that either tbh.

The Doctor thing has backfired hugely but really is a mountain and molehill scenario, a nothing story very badly managed or mis-judged by Mourinho.

Something is not right but they will buy a few then win a few and they will be back up close to the top. Come May I would suggest if you finish above them then you will be champions.

by being an arse, getting fired and walking away with a large payoff

but because she's supposed to know the player is play-acting to waste time, she gets demoted.

I think that's quite a storyline tbh.

With the handshake story, Mourinho positioned himself in front of the TV camera and shook hards with each of the (in many cases clearly reluctant) Arsenal players. Wenger sees this as he comes down the steps and literally gives it the swerve.

My mountain / molehill comment is based largely on the coverage I have seen of the incident on Sky who admittedly are going to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I have no idea if Hazard was play-acting to waste time or otherwise. Were they leading at the time?

acquiesce to the manager's wishes and methods. Nobody wants medical staff deciding if and when a player is fit to play

Dont they basically come straight back on the minute the ball is back in play? So why is it such a massive problem unless the player is actuslly injured?

The media attention is obvious. Its mourinho and a pretty woman.
