The whole thing is incredibly silly in the extreme all the same.

From him criticising the medical staff to the media reaction and medical experts popping up all over the place with their two pennies worth.

It is classic JM modus operandi, as indeed it is most football managers for that matter, to attempt to try and deflect attention from a poor result. Perhaps he hugely mis-judged this one but move on.

It will be very funny now if they lose to City and a 5 point gap opens. Utterly meaningless of course as it is but August but we know how the media love to meddle, early season crisis, and then the petulance of Mourinho is tested further.
