View Full Version : Red, you're sending your boys to school in Germany?

Should you not have sent them to UK for, you know, a proper education?

Despite the depravities of 70 years of socialism, we still have decent boarding schools, you know.

His mother wasn't happy as it's a state school, as you say, rather than a decent fee-paying boarding establishment.

That is, until she found out that it's on the Koenigsallee. Happily, her friends are all green with envy :-|

I was staying in a sort of Travelodge on an industrial estate on the outskirts of Dusseldorf. In the evening I watched Porto beat Cltic in the UEFA cup final, enjoying a dinner of beer and snacks from the machine in the lobby. There was a great deal of Haribo involved.

Good timez.

I did have my own pants, though.

proportion of long term elderly residents. It suits me very well.

I do enjoy a summer's evening drinking small glasses of beer outside the breweries by the Rhine. Oddly, there are a great number of excellent seafood restaurants in Dusseldorf.

On a recent visit I attended a knocking shop where, whilst my colleagues engaged in, no doubt, deviant sexual practices, I chatted for an hour with a Romanian prostitute by the name of Andrea. She gave me her private number so that when I next visit with the glw, she can show us the 'real' Dusseldorf.

I look forward to this very much.

I suppose it's their fault for wearing those short skirts, as well?

Twice and it starts to look a bit suspicious.

Where they count the money and do the books and all that sort of thing. The small glasses of beer is a big clue, I suppose.

I'm sure your wife will enjoy the story of how you met your tour guide.

She wasn't overjoyed, to be honest. It was late and she'd just dozed off.
