Our squad is tremendously equipped in terms of basic numbers and also quality though maybe some chaps got a little carried away on the basis of our triple trophy haul since May.

I think we are one forward short. Bit surprised he let akpom, gnabry and sanogo all go on loan.

Defence is ok, as is midfield, assuming a reasonable injury load.

ie 25 players when we are allowed a squad of - oh look 25 players. How is that in any way fairly small (I am aware that some of the "senior" players count in different ways but they are still senior players)

I am not defending yesterday, just pointing out that these things happen in football. The pain and anguish, as such, was heightened by the occasion and the overflow of optimism from being multiple trophy winners in recent months.

You can cpunt flamini and campbell but i doubt they will get used as anything but a last resort and i doubt either will be here once the window shuts.

It isnt a huge deal, i think we sre just one short in the forward line. Would be particularly nice if we had someone to play on the left so we dont have to use cazorla there when sanchez isnt fit.
