And it wasnt great beforehand.

At least we can stop all this ridiculous talk of winning the title.

Let us hope this is a freak and not the norm.

Mind numbing stupidity and carelessness. Just shows we have learned nothing over the last few years and still have no real idea how to manage a game.

Short of a bench in the first game of the season, half fit players on, half the side playing out of position, no real clue what our midfield or attack should look like.

Nothing has changed. Just waiting for the injuries to start rolling in and we are back to normal service :hehe:

If we do, Wenger out, imo

game of the season.

Have to agree about the seeming lack of urgency in getting back into the game at times but I'm just putting/hoping this down to being the first game.

I still believe we can make a very strong push for the title this year but am rather concerned by some of our tactical decisions today. It all felt somewhat frazzled for us, which can easily be attributed to opening day of the season syndrome.

Anyway, well done to West Ham. They somehow pulled that one out of the bag today.

At 1-0 there is plenty of time to get back in the game, you dont have to try and force it in every scenario. We make this mistake too often (e.g. Monaco).

We were sloppy at 0-0 but that is to be expected against a team who were clearly sharper than us.

I don't want to be reminded of it again :-(
