Keep you nice and warm, and easy to get on and off. Go for one with buttons rather than a zip.

as we spent the day at Newmarket.
However, my aunt lives there and she is turning 80. Come to think of it my family will probably fill one hotel

reasonable rate as it looks like a nice place. Flying in late Friday night so just staying at an airport place. Why is there such a shortage though, p?

it blocks them from selling Friday night.
Plus loads of local events going on around the country *******s everything up. For example first weekend of September they have foo fighters concerts in MK. Forget about finding a room nearby at a sensible price.
I remember when Premier Inn's or travellodges used to be reasonably priced.

that they can use up to a certain point. Btu if it's a busy date those rooms will be booked quickly and no more will be available.
Otherwons are controlled by the hotels who will log in to these sites and put how many rooms they want to sell and for how long and they can add conditions like minimum 2 nights stays.
Then the hotel would rather sell on their own site as it's more profitable as they do not need to give a slice to the other websites.
And Saturday one night is booking they like to avoid as it can kill their friday night as usually nobody really stays Friday for one night.

so just got the one night at a more expensive place. Trying to juggle whether it is that much cheaper flying on a Saturday morning and just staying one night or flying on the relatively cheap late-night Friday night and having a short time in a hotel. Then thought f**k it :-)
