colleague had recently plopped out. It was an unremarkable enough thing - not as hideous as some, but still red-faced, unformed and basically not properly human like all of them. But no sooner had this hit desktops than virtually every woman in the place started cooing and simpering about what a good-looking lad he was and how he was beautiful. No such reaction emerged from any man.

So my question is this: are they just being nice and saying what they think they're supposed to or do they actually see something in this bland, amorphous scrap of humanity that I can't?

Or am I just dead inside?

to wish to have, and care for, such things; meanwhile yer man, having provided his essential fluids to enable the spawning, is free to f**k off out and fight woolly mammoths again.

We're all cavemen, b.

On the other hand, yes, we have positively established that you are, indeed, dead inside. :-(

We're not really much good at it and our efforts - however well-meaning, are invariably ham-fisted.

After all, there's far more to life than going to work all the time. The dollies understand this.

Mine is pushing 16 months and is becoming increasingly fun, but we're still at a point where everything he wants to do is fundamentally at odds with what I would rather be doing at any given time.
