the desirability of this Canadian town. In short, it's expensive to live in London because every dog and his dick wants to live there, because it's the greatest city on earth, and salaries reflect this reality.
Is the same true of Bumf**k, Saskatchewan?

may help to explain this, f. If I lived in Canada and was within rifle shot of my nearest neighbour I'd want to know the reason why, since the place is massive and there's (in relative terms) nobody in it.

carefully looked at comparable jobs and it seems the same over there as here.
500k for a flat in Palmers Green! I know we have a Waitrose but it's still Green Lanes.
On the other hand. With the strong pound compared to the Canadian dollar what a good opportunity if someone was to move there. They would literally double their monies for a large mortgage deposit.
lovely in summer but he fecks off all winter as the main big mall and shopping street and restaurants are semi underground in tunnels..living like rats

We have to live in a state of permanent damp for 8 months, so I suppose we can't really crow.

Have you considered Greece?

Italy is affordable. I suspect we are purchasing one of my brother in laws properties from him.
I wonder why the built houses in the smaller towns they decided to build them all so close together. And building a church on top of a mountain seems a pain in the arse too. They also love blocks of flats.
and far better than Quebec
