Arsenal-supporting cricketer called Ravi Bhopara.

Sol really does come across as a truly horrible man. Thick as two short planks, utterly lacking in self-awareness and yet deeply arrogant.

I did, howeverm gave our cleaner a severe talking to before I left the flat this morning to ensure she is extra careful about not leaving our front door open.

Also, I've noticed that Tuccks isn't so enthusiastic about his kibbles as he once was, which leads me to wonder if he's suffering from tooth ache or perhaps a gum infection. I will certainly monitor him over the coming weeks and days.

No doubt Berni will be quick to tell me that he's probably dying and that it serves me right for getting a "**** cat".

Do you clean his teeth? My cats have their teeth cleaned, but only once a day.

He is an affectionate fellow, but on his terms only. Any attempts to physically control him are met with short shrift.

animal, then teaching him a few basic words of command. This training should NOT, of course, be undertaken on a reward basis. It is demeaning to teach the cat to obey in return for a treat. No, to build and maintain his self-respect he should be taught that virtue is its own reward.

When I call my cats for, as we choose to call it, 'Tootypeg time!' they come and sit next to me and bare their teeth.

Minnie does NOT much care for the fish flavoured paste.

of food.

A flatmate had a couple of cats, one of whom was a somewhat unlovable scraggy Persian, which used to make a right racket when on heat. When the future Ms A came to visit, she would get on well with this cat, partly perhaps because she wasn't around much when it was howling, and the cat seemed to appreciate this friendship, and would eventually come bounding enthusiastically to greet her.

As for Berni describing something you love as '****' - that's perfectly normal behaviour for him is it not?
