I dislike all the competitiveness of the situation.

It's always the same no matter where I work. Everyone takes it far to seriously. playing a game against a rival company is never a good idea either always ends in a potential fight.

on a side note I just heard my manager talking to someone about what we gonna do about the 'secret santa' this year?

Crucially the colleagues were mainly from other departments / floors as opposed to people you worked directly with an invariably disliked.

Lunchtime matches less enjoyable but evening games invariably resulted in a charge of pints down by Old Street or Edgware Road.

Played twice v other companies and both ended up in actual fist fights, the one in Barnet in particular being a right old melee.

Correction: The two games which ended in fights were both in London. I played many games in Ireland v other companies in a structured tournamant and all passed without non-football based violence.

Conclusion: Ireland is safer than London

If an over-zealous tackle goes in it's laughed off. Pints are always taken afterwards with both teams mixing rather amicably.

someone says 'I've never played before but i'll give it ago' and they are actually really good. We had an aussie chap do this.

Then another time I was looking for 2 players. they were twins from uzbekistan. They told me they hadn't played before. I said ok play in defence or be the keeper. turns out they hadn't really played at all or by the looks of it any sort of sport. Made me look like Messi. I should have known when the first time he tried to kick the ball he stood on it and fell on his face.

I am **** the Awimb match showed hat but not always ****.

The few I know are at a guess in their 50s.

The incidents I was part of was blokes in their 20s and in both cases the matches very one sided which will invariably cause tempers to rise.
