Can’t see anywhere Giroud goes other than your up top striker which you would assume our new 40 goal a season striker goes. In fact he is the only player outside of the back 4 who doesn’t appear to have that flexibility to play different roles. So he’s on the bench most weeks and getting 10-15 mins where possible.

Perhaps Arsene has simply developed a ruthless streak and where an upgrade is available (Cech) he is game on.


Mind you funny if the lad now signs for United.

If it were down to me, all players fit, you would have messers Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Walcott, Welbeck and purely to amuse ourselves at this point in proceedings Giroud all vying for a place on the bench.

FYI, i'd have a midfield 3 of Coq/Ramsey/Ozil with Ox and Sanchez out wide and a striker up front.

I think he plays midfield and Cazorla misses out. Interview with Ramsey in the Guardian at the weekend, think he is not going to be happy unless he is back central.
