Mums and babies will flock to Forbury Gardens on Saturday to participate in the Global Big Latch On breastfeeding event.
The worldwide event sees thousands of women and babies gather to take part in the synchronised breastfeeding event on Saturday August 1.
Starting at 10am, this will be the third-consecutive year the local event has been hosted by Breastfeeding Berkshire, the community of mums that provide on-line and personal mum-to-mum support.
Rachel Dearlove, from Breastfeeding Berkshire, said: "We think anything that can help to raise the profile of breastfeeding is worth doing.
"It is a completely natural and normal way of feeding children and just the same bottle feeding, so by hosting this event we are trying to help women feel more confident and comfortable when breast feeding.
"Men are very welcome too, it’s a family event which is open to everyone.
"We had around 30 women attend last year and we have already had 40 women sign up for this year, but obviously we’re hoping for as many as possible."
She added: "It’s our (Breastfeeding Berkshire) main event but we do have regular meet ups with women from around Berkshire, where we have tea and cake, chat to each other and offer suppoort.
