So, yeah, I think they tried to do the same, but this time our attention isn't diverted (plus Israel's attention is solely focused on Arabs and nukes) so they couldn't do the same.

So, realizing this, they (Axis of Evil #3) had to accept a diplomatic solution. Tried and failed sort of thing.
